Titans Join Rest of NFL With Exciting Announcement Before 2025 Season

The Tennessee Titans have been bottom-dwellers in the AFC for several seasons now despite a strong run under head coach Mike Vrabel in the late 2010s and early 2020s. Unfortunately, several poor decisions by various general managers have derailed the team's chances of succeeding.

Head coach Brian Callahan and new general manager Mike Borgonzi are attempting to rebuild the team now, and that started with selecting Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He and the new regime will attempt to regain prominence in the league and assert themselves in a relatively weak AFC South division.

Fortunately, the Titans just made a historic announcement that can expand their fan base exponentially as they embark upon this new era. On Tuesday, the team announced that they had joined the NFL's Global Markets Program and been given International Marketing Rights in Ireland.

This is a major move for the franchise, as they were the only NFL team without International Marketing Rights prior to the announcement. The game has been growing rapidly in recent seasons, especially in Western Europe, so getting some skin in the game is a smart move.

The Titans are likely now on the short list of the teams to be hosting or playing in international games over the next several seasons, but that is okay. The new era in Tennessee is exciting for the fan base and that joy should be spread as far as it can be.
