Every NFL organization strives to draft productive young players to its team. Some of those picks work out, and these young players make an immediate impact for their franchise. But unfortunately, some don’t work out the way people think they would.
The Tennessee Titans, fortunately, may have struck gold with two prospects in recent years with 2023 first-round offensive lineman Peter Skoronski and 2024 second-rounder T'Vondre Sweat, a defensive tackle.
NFL.com recently released its All-Under-25 team, and the Titans had both Skoronski and Sweat on the list. The duo, who are entering their third and second years, respectively, could be cornerstones in the trenches for a Titans team trying to climb its way back to the top of the division and the AFC.

When Skonski came into the NFL, there was a debate about whether he would be a tackle or a guard. The Titans envisioned the 23-year-old former Northwestern tackle as a guard, and he has been entrenched there ever since he arrived in Nashville.
The ride for him certainly has not been smooth the entire way, but he has continued to improve and acclimate to playing the guard position in the NFL. With him being as smart as he is, as well as being physical in the trenches, he is only going to get better and better, especially under the tutelage of veteran offensive line coach Bill Callahan.
As far as Sweat, there were also doubts about him ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft. He had demonstrated his playing ability at the University of Texas, but some doubted his ability to stay on the field for extended periods due to his physique. But even with that, the Titans could not ignore the things Sweat could do on the field and took him in the second round.
As a result, they got to see the explosive play of Sweat when stuffing the run and occasionally when rushing the passer last season. He still has some ground to gain, but one can see his talent and ability every time he touches the field.
The biggest thing for him going into Year 2 will be making those explosive plays even more consistent. Sweat and Skoronski hope to contribute to an offensive and defensive line that will be crucial to the success or failure of the Tennessee Titans in the 2025 NFL season.
