Titans Legend Makes Bold Lamar Jackson Prediction for 2025 Season

The Tennessee Titans are entering a new era in 2025 under first-time general manager Mike Borgonzi and his first-ever draft pick, Cam Ward. Ward will look to follow in the footsteps of legendary franchise quarterbacks like Warren Moon and Steve McNair.

Moon recently appeared on the Up & Adams Show. He was asked about which quarterback has the best chance to win their first Super Bowl ring in 2025 between the Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Burrow, the Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen, and the Baltimore Ravens' Lamar Jackson.

"I think Lamar," Moon said. "That's a team that's right there, ready to go."

Burrow and the Bengals famously trudged past the Kansas City Chiefs in a win at Arrowhead Stadium during the 2021 NFL playoffs, earning them a spot in Super Bowl LVI. Unfortunately, they fell short against the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 23 to 20.

The last three years have featured the Bengals, Ravens and Bills losing consecutively to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, which included a home loss in Baltimore. So, it will be difficult for any of these teams to get over the hump.

However, Kansas City got trounced by the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl last year, so their reign could theoretically be over.

Moon did point out that matchups will be critical for whoever does make that leap in the AFC, as the conference is loaded with great teams.

"I think it depends on who plays who in the playoffs," Moon said. "If you have to go through, say, playing both Kansas City and Baltimore if you're Buffalo, and the same thing if you're the Ravens, ... It's gonna be a little tougher. If you only gotta play one of them, that'd be great."

The 2025 NFL season opens up on September 4, with the first full slate of Sunday games happening on September 7.
