Titans make major decision on Will Levis

The Will Levis era is over in Tennessee.

The Tennessee Titans are waiving Levis as part of their roster cuts, according to multiple reports. The team had initially sought to find a trade partner, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, but were unable to find a deal for him.

The Titans made Levis the 33rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and gave him a legitimate chance to prove himself as their franchise quarterback. He ultimately went 5-16 as a starter and is remembered more for his incredible lowlights than for anything else. His status as a walking meme extended into the 2026 preseason as well.

Levis’ fate with the Titans was sealed when the team made Cam Ward the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The former Kentucky quarterback has not played in a regular season game since then.

Levis will undoubtedly look to catch on somewhere else. In August, he stated that he was certain he was one of the 32 best quarterbacks in the NFL. At the moment, however, he does not even have a team.
