Titans mayo-in-coffee QB spotlights his 'brand' with weird habit

Levis divulged that his love of mayo began at a young age, when he started putting it on his sandwiches in elementary school. He only started adding it to his coffee after a tongue-in-cheek suggestion from his girlfriend one morning while the two were out for breakfast.

His coffee arrived, and there was no sugar or cream at their table. However, there was mayo. What started as lighthearted dare turned into a habit that launched Levis into the spotlight. 

Now, the second-round pick considers the egg- and oil-based condiment as part of his trademark.

"That video went viral, and I raised some eyebrows from that," Levis told USA Today. "From there, mayonnaise has been irreplaceable with me and my brand.”

Levis doesn’t just love mayonnaise — he passionately defends it from anyone who dares to speak a derogatory word against it. His adoration for the condiment is almost as strong as the right arm he used to launch 60-yard bombs at Kentucky’s pro day in March.

“I’ve made an effort from time to time to try to sway people’s opinions on mayonnaise if they have a strong negative one,” Levis continued. “And I’ve succeeded in that I think a few times…getting people to believe they like mayonnaise when they didn’t even know they liked mayonnaise or just putting people on (it) in general.”

Interestingly enough, mayonnaise isn’t the only food Levis consumes in an unusual way. The former Kentucky signal-caller went viral again in early April after a video of himself eating a banana without peeling it from 2021 made the rounds on social media.

The video had 75.5k views on TikTok and was shared thousands of times on X, formerly known as Twitter, with millions of impressions. Levis also reportedly has a phobia of milk, although that’s never been officially confirmed.
