Super Bowl LVIII is in the books and the Kansas City Chiefs have now won back-to-back titles. It's the first time an NFL franchise has repeated as Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots in 2005.

With the NFL season now officially over, the betting odds are out for the 2025 Super Bowl champion.

Tennessee Titans fans won't love where their team is currently listed on BetMGM.com.

Super Bowl 2025 Betting Odds

The Titans are currently +15000 to win Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans. That's tied with the Washington Commanders and New York Giants for the third worst odds in the NFL. Only the New England Patriots (+20000) and Carolina Panthers (+25000) are bigger long shots.

If you're listening to Vegas, they've got the Titans finishing as one of the worst teams in the NFL next season. The odds would also suggest the Titans are projected to be the worst team in the AFC South by a wide margin.

The Indianapolis Colts are +5000 to win the Super Bowl, the Jacksonville Jaguars are +3000, and the Houston Texans are +2500.

It's not the Titans being Super Bowl long shots that I have a problem with. Would I put Tennessee as a bottom three team in the league right now? No. But after watching what Patrick Mahomes has done to the rest of the AFC over the last five seasons, you won't find me arguing about why the Titans should be given better odds to run the AFC and win a championship. They're nowhere close to championship caliber right now.

But I do raise an eyebrow at the significant gap between Tennessee and the other AFC South franchises. I'll be interested in a.) seeing how that translates to projected win totals on betting apps, and b.) how much those totals change as the offseason plays out.

The Titans have a lot of work to do. But they have the resources to do that work and narrow the gap. Tennessee currently has over $62 million in effective cap space, the second most in the league, the 7th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, a new head coach, and a rising star at quarterback.

I definitely won't be betting on the Titans to win Super Bowl 59, but I think this team could end up looking better than they're currently getting credit for. I'll keep an eye on other 2024 NFL futures bets.
