The Tennessee Titans and wide receiver Calvin Ridley have agreed to a restructured deal that will keep the veteran pass catcher with the team for the 2026 season.
Ridley originally signed a four-year, $92 million contract with Tennessee in March 2024, a deal that included $50 million in guaranteed money. The restructuring helps the Titans manage what would have been a $26.5 million salary-cap hit while also addressing a $2 million roster bonus that was due this week.
Injuries cut short Ridley’s 2025 season. The 31-year-old first suffered a hamstring injury during a Week 6 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, forcing him to miss three games.
After returning in Week 11 against the Houston Texans, Ridley later broke his fibula, which ended his season. He finished the year with 17 receptions for 303 yards in seven games.
Despite the setback, Ridley previously delivered a strong debut season with Tennessee in 2024, posting 64 catches for 1,017 yards and leading the team in receiving production.
Keeping Ridley gives Tennessee a proven target as the offense looks to rebound after a difficult 2025 campaign. The Titans recently added wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson on a four-year deal, strengthening the receiving corps.
Ridley will also reunite with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, who previously coached him during his college career at Alabama Crimson Tide football.
Before joining the Titans, Ridley built a productive career with the Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars. A former first-round pick, he earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2020 after recording 1,374 receiving yards.
Although injuries slowed him last season, the Titans still view Ridley as an important veteran presence and a potential centerpiece of their passing attack when healthy.
