The Tennessee Titans pulled off an impressive 42-36 overtime win on Sunday against the Houston Texans to remain undefeated on the 2020 campaign. However, the win was costly as the Titans will be without Taylor Lewan for the remainder of the season.
The offensive tackle confirmed Monday that he suffered a torn ACL the day prior. While it's a disappointing injury, Lewan said he's looking forward to rooting on his teammates, adding that the Titans are "doing something special."
I can’t wait to watch my guys crush it, I’m going to be the biggest titans fan each and every Sunday. We are doing something special here and this small set back doesn’t change a thing!

Lewan suffered the injury in the third quarter against the Texans. He joins a lengthy list of players who have suffered the same injury this season, including Saquon Barkley and Nick Bosa, among others.
The 2020 campaign has been full of injuries thus far, and it's likely because the NFL and NFL Players Association decided to forego the preseason and focus on getting players conditioned through a longer training camp.
With Lewan now out for the remainder of the year, Ty Sambrailo is next in line to start in his place.
