Believe it or not, Tom Brady has expanded his diet since hanging up his cleats for good.
The "TB12 diet" was talked about an awful lot during Brady's incredible career. He apparently focused on eating organic foods, such as fruits and vegetables, and avoided as much processed food as possible. The seven-time Super Bowl champion wanted to reduce inflammation as much as possible so it could speed up his recovery process.
Now that Brady is retired, he's not exactly promoting the healthiest products in the world. It turns out there's a reason for it besides earning more money.
Brady recently sat down with CNBC's Alex Sherman to discuss his partnership with Ferrero for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. That led to the legendary quarterback revealing that his diet isn't as strict as everyone thinks it is.
"I think it’s moderation in all things. People have gone pretty overboard with kind of the rigidity of my lifestyle or diet. I have kids, and you know, Halloweens and birthday parties, and we're like a normal family, so I try to make really good healthy choices off as possible," Brady said. "But when you're watching football games and you're at games and you're traveling and you're in airports, I understand the reality of life as well."
Brady then revealed that he's a "huge fan" of Tic Tacs.
NFL fans saw enough zip from Brady's arm in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic that they started speculating about a potential comeback.
Interestingly enough, Brady approached the NFL and asked about him coming out of retirement despite being a minority owner for the Las Vegas Raiders.
"I actually have inquired, and they don't like that idea very much," Brady told CNBC. "So I'm going to leave it at that. We explored a lot of different things, and I'm very happily retired. Let me just say that, too."
Suffice to say, Brady won't be under center for an NFL team this fall.
