The latest NFL power rankings showed a lot of respect to the Minnesota Vikings. After their 3-0 start, the Vikings are starting to have people jump in and believe in them. It isn't just that they started 3-0, they have controlled each game and have only trailed for 3:26 of the 180 minutes they have played this season.
There are fans who are already saying that the Vikings are Super Bowl contenders. Yeah, it might be too early for that but it's also not crazy to talk about with how well they are playing.
In his first year as a broadcaster with Fox, future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady has been getting acclimated to being in the media. It is a unique transition and Brady is fully embracing it.
For Fox, he's also doing short videos breaking down the league in various ways. He did a top five power rankings and ranked the Vikings third.
"At number three, the Minnesota Vikings. Yeah, just how you scripted it. You lose your quarterback and free agency, so you draft one in the first round. Gets hurt, so you bring in Sam Darnold, 3-0 start. It's been his fourth team in five seasons. I can't say enough good things about what I've seen from him this year. And my old teammate, KOC, Kevin O'Connell, he could be the front runner. I know it's early for Coach of the Year. He's got him off to a 3-0 start. And what about this Viking defense? Six team sacks to lead the league so far this year, unbelievable job by Brian Flores. They got a big game against the Packers coming up on Sunday. NFC North gonna be a lot of fun to watch this year."
The only two teams that the Vikings are behind according to Brady are the Kansas City Chiefs at one and the Buffalo Bills at two. That means the Vikings are Brady's top team in the NFC. Pretty high praise from the future Hall of Famer and he's not wrong.
