The Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles are facing off in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, which will be aired of Fox Sports, with broadcasters Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt in the booth.
It should prove to be an exciting matchup with rookie quarterback sensation Jayden Daniels going up against the tough Eagles defense, which ranked second in points per game allowed (17.8) during the regular season.
On Wednesday, while on "The Herd" Brady revealed his very clear opinion of what Daniels has done this season.
“Jayden looks, and I know this for a fact, he has a tremendous work ethic,” he said. “Everybody speaks about his ability to work hard. He's in the playbook after he gets drafted in the off-season, he's trying to understand what the coaches are going to ask him, and then you see how it's reflected in his rookie season. One of the great rookie seasons any quarterback’s ever had."

Brady' right too, because after the regular season, compared to every rookie QB in NFL history, he ranked 11th in completions (331), first in completion percentage (69), 15th in passing yards (3,568), fifth in passing touchdowns (25), fourth in passer rating (100.1) and first in rushing yards (891).
It also doesn't hurt that he's been one of the biggest factors in turning around the Commanders and making this deep playoff run, despite finishing 4-13 in 2023.
It will now remain to be seen if Daniels and Washington can stay red hot, and potentially make their first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history since winning it all to cap the 1991 season.
