Tom Brady Makes Fox Broadcasting Decision For 2025 Season

Last week, there were rumors about Tom Brady leaving FOX once the 2024 NFL season comes to an end. On Thursday, the legendary quarterback's agent addressed all the outside noise.

It all started with Richard Deitsch of The Athletic predicting that Brady will leave FOX before the 2025 regular season even begins. Former Miami Marlins president David Samson made the same prediction since he sees just how involved Brady is with the Las Vegas Raiders. While on Dan Le Batard's show, he said, "Enjoy Tom in the booth because you're not going to see him there next year."

Brady's longtime agent, Don Yee, spoke to Sports Business Journal about the seven-time Super Bowl champion's future. Despite all the chatter, he claims his client is committed to his role as a broadcaster.

"Tom has had a tremendous amount of fun working with Fox this year, and he's really excited about the future with Fox and his growth on their team," Yee said. "And this year was the first year of a long relationship."

FOX signed Brady to a 10-year, $375 million contract in 2022. It'd be tough to walk away from that money.

Brady has received plenty of criticism this season for being an "underwhelming broadcaster." He could, in theory, shut down that narrative with a strong finish in the playoffs.

Fans can hear Brady's commentary on Saturday night when the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders square off at Ford Field. As always, he'll get to work with Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews.

Since FOX has the rights to Super Bowl LIX, Brady will get to showcase his improved broadcasting skills on Feb. 9 when the final game of the season kicks off at Caesars Superdome.
