Tom Brady retired from the NFL back in 2022 after playing 23 seasons.

He is arguably the greatest player ever, with seven Super Bowl titles, five Super Bowl MVPs, three league MVPs and 15 Pro Bowl selections.

Brady has since worked for Fox Sports as a commentator alongside play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporter Erin Andrews.

Together, they call "America's Game of the Week" from the booth. In Week 15, Brady will be in Los Angeles as the Los Angeles Rams host the Detroit Lions at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday.

Meanwhile, Brady sat down for an interview on Friday to answer questions from Verizon customers for Fox's "Mailbag with Tom."

One of the questions was, "What's the one food you cannot live without?"

"Chocolate," Brady said. "I love chocolate. I've tended to switch to healthier chocolates over the years, but you give me a little chocolate ice cream, or a chocolate lava cake, or chocolate brownie, or something with some type of chocolate crunch. I'm a sucker for that. I'm sorry."

"People aren't even going to believe that," the interviewer responded. "They're going to say Tom Brady's trying to relate to us here."

Brady is in great shape, and his chocolate answer comes as quite a surprise.

The 48-year-old has been known to avoid heavy max lifting and instead focus on core and balance work, resistance band workouts and bodyweight movements. He also has deep stretching routines and prioritizes recovery.
