Tom Brady Predicted To Leave FOX Announcing Job After The Season

Tom Brady is wrapping up his first full-time season as an NFL broadcaster.

The seven-time Super Bowl Champion has been in the first year of a 10-year contract that he signed with FOX and has been the network's top color commentator alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.

Brady still has nine years left on his contract but Dan Patrick doesn't see him finishing out that contract. In fact, he thinks Brady will be "one-and-done" after he calls this season's Super Bowl next month.

"I just see Brady as a one-and-done. He does the Super Bowl, and he decides that he’s going to be more involved with the Raiders. I just don't see Tom sort of one foot in and one foot out with the Raiders," Patrick said on the "Dan Patrick Show." "He's too much of a competitor."

Brady is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders in addition to being the lead commentator for FOX each week of the NFL season. His minority stake in the team was approved in 2024 and he's expected to be a big part of the Raiders' coaching search since they fired Antonio Pierce on Tuesday.

Brady has been competitive all his life so he could want to really focus on the Raiders a bit more and try and get them back on track while forgoing his broadcasting duty at some point. It may not be after this year as Patrick predicts but it could still happen.

He'll be on the call for this Sunday's Packers-Eagles playoff game in Philadelphia before calling another game for the divisional round next week. After that, he'll call the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl LIX in February.

Kickoff for Sunday's Packers-Eagles contest will be at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
