Tom Brady, wife Gisele Bundchen and the couple’s children are currently vacationing in Costa Rica, a getaway that surely provides the seven-time Super Bowl champion with a relaxing environment to recover from his recent knee surgery.

Photos have surfaced showing Brady and Bundchen enjoying the weather, creature comforts and scenery of Costa Rica, as shared by Page Six.

Brady is seen in one of the photos sporting a bandage on his left leg. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback revealed earlier this month during an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” that he underwent a procedure on his knee that was believed to be “minor,” although subsequent reporting suggested that the surgery was “more than just a little clean-up.”

The reigning Super Bowl champ downplayed the seriousness of the procedure during his late-night talk show appearance, however.

“I actually had knee surgery, so I’m kind of rehabbing now, which is giving me something to do, although I’d much rather be kind of staying active like I normally do,” Brady said, via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

It’s always big news during the offseason when word arises about Brady and his brood gallivanting around the world. The family’s annual globetrotting ways reinforce how Brady always makes sure to get in at least a little rest and relaxation, among other endeavors, before ramping up his legendarily grueling offseason regimen.

In other words, it’s safe to say that Brady will be ready and raring to go as preparations get underway for the 43-year-old’s 22nd NFL season thanks to the opportunity to decompress and recover from surgery in a lavish, tropical locale.

No word, though, on whether any waterslides were a component of the family’s vacation plans. Given the recent knee surgery, Brady probably would be wise to avoid such endeavors.
