Tom Brady says his shoulder feels great, he will be there on Sunday

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady missed practice this week and has been dealing with shoulder and finger issues following Sunday night's 41-31 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. That has left his status for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons in some doubt.

Despite that, Brady said on Thursday that his shoulder "feels great" and that he will be there on Sunday.

Both teams enter Sunday's game with 2-2 records. Sole possession of first place in the NFC South will be on the line.

The Buccaneers enter the game having lost two in a row. Their offense has struggled all season with injuries to the offensive line and wide receivers decimating their depth at both positions. While their 31-point showing on Sunday night against Kansas City seemed to be a step forward, they have been held to 20 points or less in their other three games this season.

Brady, 45, returned for his 23rd NFL season this year after flirting with retirement in the offseason. He led the league with 5,316 passing yards and 43 touchdowns a year ago.

Through the first four games this season he has passed for 1,058 yards, six touchdowns and only one interception.
