Tom Brady turned back the clock during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, sharing a light moment with longtime teammate Rob Gronkowski.
The former NFL stars reunited on the field, and Brady later posted a picture on Instagram with the four-word caption, “Like We Never Left” . The message caught attention, as fans enjoyed seeing the iconic duo together again.
Brady also shared a clip from the game, showing he still has his instincts. In the play, he avoided a grab before delivering a pass, adding the caption, “Still got a few tricks.” The moment showed his sharp awareness, even after stepping away from competitive football for over 1,000 days.
Reflecting on the event, Brady posted a long message celebrating the sport and its growth. He wrote, “I experienced so many moments this week that reminded me why I love this game so much.” He praised the event and added, “The excitement on that field made it clear that flag football has arrived at a whole new level.”
On the field, Brady started strong. He threw a touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs on his first play and connected with Gronkowski for a two-point conversion.
However, momentum shifted quickly. Team USA dominated the tournament, defeating Brady’s Founders FFC 43-16 and later sealing a 24-14 win in the final.
Despite the losses, Brady stayed upbeat. He joked, “And yes, losing to @loganpaul is probably the best sign that it’s time to pass the torch.” He ended his post with a clear message: “I LOVE FOOTBALL! ENOUGH SAID! LFG!!”
Even in defeat, Brady showed his passion for football remains strong.
