The best wide receiver in the National Football League debate has been raging on for quite a while. Right now, the debate is mainly between two players: Ja'Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals and Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings.
You could theoretically have Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins, A.J. Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles and CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys in there but the current discussion of the best is between the two former LSU Tigers.
Tom Brady picks Justin Jefferson over Ja'Marr Chase
Analysts across the league will be often asked questions about who the best player is at certain positions. What's unique in this situation is this analyst is considered the greatest quarterback to ever play in the NFL.
Fox Sports lead color analyst Tom Brady was asked what current receiver he would want to throw to that he hadn't played with before and he chose Jefferson while also comparing him to Hall of Fame receiver and former Viking Randy Moss.
"Couple tough choices out there. I know Jamar Chase, what a year he's having, but I'm saying Justin Jefferson, he can do everything from any spot on the field, he goes deep, he goes short, catch the ball, catch and run touchdowns, third down. He's a ridiculous pleasure, reminds me so much of my former teammate and Viking Randy Moss. So it becomes down to choosing only one he would be the one right now."
It's not a surprise that Brady picked Jefferson, but comparing him to Moss, who is arguably the greatest wide receiver of all-time, is an impressive complement. Jefferson has all the tools you could ever ask for from a wide receiver and he torches defenses in the same way.
We can stop discussing who is better, as the goat has spoken and lets be real, it's always been Jefferson.
