It's mind-boggling that any team would pass on the opportunity to sign Tom Brady.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion appears on a new episode of HBO's "The Shop: Uninterrupted" and admitted he even couldn't believe it when one team passed on him as a free agent last year to stick with its current quarterback.
“One of the teams, they weren’t interested at the very end. I was thinking, ‘You’re sticking with that motherf--ker?’”@TomBrady kept receipts on his free agency @brgridiron#TheShopHBO premieres Friday at 9:30pm on @hbomax pic.twitter.com/lDW8ywrLLP

It's unclear which team Brady is referring to. However, it's well-known that the former New England Patriots signal-caller wanted to sign with his hometown San Francisco 49ers, who opted to stick with Jimmy Garoppolo.
Maybe Garoppolo is the unnamed player Brady is talking about. However, the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Chargers also reportedly were in on Brady, so there's a possibility he was talking about someone else.
Who knows, maybe someday we'll find out who he was talking about. For now, fans are left to speculate.
