The Chicago Bears will face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It’s one of the most anticipated matchups of Week 6, featuring two teams looking to bounce back from defeats. An update involving the game and Tom Brady emerged on Tuesday.
Chicago suffered a 31-7 rivalry showdown loss the Green Bay Packers last Sunday at Lambeau Field. It struggled on both ends of the field, with the home team dominating on defense. Atlanta, on the other hand, lost 30-23 to the Baltimore Ravens. Michael Penix Jr. sustained a rib injury and Tua Tagovailoa replaced him late in the fourth quarter. However, he threw an interception that sealed the team’s Week 5 fate.
Meanwhile, Brady became the highest paid sports commentator in history in May 2022. He signed a 10-year, $375 deal with Fox Sports to be its lead color commentator. It came after his legendary playing career where he won seven Super Bowls and earned five Super Bowl MVPs and three NFL MVPs, among other accolades.
Brady will call the Bears-Falcons game, adding even more attention to it. Fox Sports will broadcast the matchup live at 1 p.m. ET.
“Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi will call #DaBears-Falcons at noon CT Sunday on FOX,” Sun Times’ Jeff Agrest wrote.

The Bears enter Week 6 with a 3-2 record but could have Caleb Williams back. He could reportedly return to practice after missing the last three games due to a hamstring injury. Tyson Bagent will likely start under center if he remains sidelined on Sunday.
A short week follows for Chicago as it will face the New England Patriots on “Thursday Night Football.” The team’s Week 8 fixture is a clash with the defending champions, the Seattle Seahawks, at Lumen Field.
