After the 2022 NFL season, NFL legend Tom Brady decided to call it quits after 23 years in the league. But he only had one season off before heading right back to the football field.
A few months after retiring, the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback signed a massive 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox Sports to be part of its lead broadcast team with Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews, but didn't start until 2024.
He capped off his first year in the booth calling the biggest game of the season: Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, Brady has entered the offseason himself and has found some extracurricular activities to do in his spare time, one of which grabbed the attention of Andrews.
On Thursday, ahead of the NHL's 4-Nations Face-Off Championship Game between the USA and Canada, Brady took to Instagram to make a post in support of his country's team. The post included a video of the seven-time Super Bowl champion attempting to flex his hockey/ice skating skills.
"HERE WE GO! ," Brady captioned his post.
Andrews, who has been with Fox since 2012, showed off some of her hockey knowledge with a two-word post, claiming Brady was "Off sides."
Andrews certainly knows a thing or two about hockey. Her husband of nine years, Jarret Stoll, spent 13 seasons in the NHL as a center. Stoll started his career with the Edmonton Oilers in 2002, spending five seasons with the team. He later went on to join the Los Angeles Kings in 2008, winning two Stanley Cups. Now, Stoll remains with the Kings but in the player development department.
Andrews and Stoll met in 2012 and began dating not long after. In 2016, the couple got engaged and, less than a year later, tied the knot in Big Sky, Montana. The pair welcomed their first child, Mack Roger Stoll, in 2023.
