Tom Brady's True Feelings on Possible Maxx Crosby Trade Revealed

Though Mark Davis is still the controlling owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, all signs point to it being the Tom Brady show going forward. The legendary quarterback bought a stake in the franchise last year and is already having a big hand in key decisions.

It remains to be seen if Brady will have a day-to-day role but regardless, his presence is going to loom large. While finding a quarterback is highest on the priority list, Maxx Crosby's contract situation is also high on the list.

He has lamented multiple times this offseason that he no longer has any guaranteed money left, which has led to many fan bases speculating that he could get traded.

However, that's not going to happen, per The Athletic's Dianna Russini. According to the reporter, Brady isn't going to entertain the idea of letting Crosby go.

"He has his hands all over everything," Russini said of Brady on the Friday episode of the "Scoop City" podcast. "… He's going to make sure that Maxx Crosby is a pillar of the Las Vegas Raiders. You can't move on from a guy like Maxx Crosby."

Crosby had a down year in 2024 due to injury but he's a two-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler who is only 27. He's a player to keep building the defense around.
