The Kansas City Chiefs have battled more adversity than expected to start the 2025 season. After starting 0-2, they've fought back to 3-3, with an opportunity to go above .500 with a Week 7 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium, airing on CBS. In the booth will be Jim Nantz and Tony Romo, while Tracy Wolfson serves as the sideline reporter.
The Chiefs are getting back third-year wide receiver Rashee Rice, who served a six-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. It stemmed from a high-speed crash Rice was involved in March 2024.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes gets a major weapon back, as Kansas City looks to win its fourth Super Bowl in seven seasons.
The Chiefs are looking hot, coming off a 30-17 win over the Detroit Lions on "Sunday Night Football." Mahomes had one of his best games of the year, throwing for 257 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
As they look to hit a stride nearly halfway through the season, Romo sent a warning to the rest of the NFL about the Chiefs.
“The sky is the limit for this team, I mean, people wrote them off way too fast," Romo said in a video posted by the NFL on CBS X account.

ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) gives Kansas City a 38.3% chance of winning the AFC West and a 12.5% chance of winning the Super Bowl (highest in the NFL).
Romo continues to have faith in the Chiefs, saying , "This team has championship DNA, and they showed it today," while calling their Week 4 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
A home matchup against an AFC West rival is an opportunity to prove their early-season slump is behind them and validate Romo's confidence. The Chiefs sit as 12.5-point favorites over the Raiders, according to ESPN BET.
