As injuries pile up and players keep underperforming, the need for fantasy football streamers increases. With quarterbacks, Kyler Murray is out with a hamstring injury (though some think it is a soft benching), and Lamar Jackson was done last week after one play.

Additionally, fantasy owners who were hoping to get wide receiver DeVonta Smith back will have to wait at least another week. Lastly, Jaylen Warren, who is a top-ten fantasy running back this year, is on bye. With that, here are five of the top fantasy football streamers for Week Nine.

1) Malik Willis Versus Detroit Lions

First up on the fantasy football streamers list is Miami Dolphins QB Malik Willis, who is averaging over 20 fantasy points in his last three games. The fifth-year man from Liberty has put together back-to-back passing touchdown performances after failing to have any in the first five contests. Willis also continues to be a dual-threat, with 113 rushing yards and two rushing TDs in the last three games.

Those two recent games also marked the first time Willis has thrown for over 200 yards in consecutive games. The opponents were solid, as the New York Jets and New England Patriots rank in the top half of the league in passing yards and points allowed.

The Dolphins’ opponent this week, the Detroit Lions, is far from the top in yards allowed. While the Lions have been better defensively lately, they still rank dead last in passing yards allowed, giving up 276.6. On top of that, every QB Detroit has faced this year has thrown for at least 200 passing yards and two TDs. Lastly, the Lions have given up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year, at 29.

Detroit is still without safety Kerby Joseph (knee), cornerback D.J. Reed (hip), and linebacker Jack Campbell after that scary neck injury. Facing a mediocre defense with injuries obviously bodes well for Willis and company, making this QB a solid choice from the football streamers list.

2) Greg Dulcich Versus Detroit Lions

Speaking of the company for Willis, Dolphins tight end Greg Dulcich is second on the fantasy football streamers list. After a slow start to 2026, Dulcich has been much more consistent recently. In three of his last four games with a target, Dulcich has at least four catches for 40 yards. After posting goose eggs against the Minnesota Vikings in Week Four, Dulcich has 16 targets in the last three weeks.

As mentioned, the Lions defense can be very generous, especially to TEs. Last week marked the third straight week where Detroit allowed a receiving TD to a tight end. With all the injuries, a fourth is on the board, which is why Dulcich makes the fantasy football streamers list.

3) Antonio Williams Versus Los Angeles Rams

Third on the fantasy football streams list is Washington Commanders WR Antonio Williams. Since the season-opening 64 yards and a TD, Williams has been relatively quiet, but he came back alive in the last two weeks. The rookie out of Clemson posted his second straight 50-yard receiving game last week, after 31 or less in his previous four outings.

While the Commanders face a tough Los Angeles Rams pass defense this week (fifth in yards allowed), the secondary now has major concerns. Former first-team All-Pro Trent McDuffie is dealing with a back injury and has not practiced all week. Meanwhile, safety Kam Curl is dealing with a foot injury and has only logged one limited practice.

Yes, this may not be the best matchup, but even the winless Los Angeles Chargers had two receivers eclipse 50 yards against this squad. That was with a healthy McDuffie and Curl, who each may not suit up this week, or will at least be less than 100 percent. The young Williams has had 11 targets in the last two games, and will be WR2 with WR Treylon Burks ruled out. Another four-catch, 50-yard game is likely the floor, and that is solid for the fantasy football streamers list.

4) Dylan Sampson At New Orleans Saints

Cleveland Browns running back Dylan Sampson is fourth on the fantasy football streamers list. Sampson has carved out a nice role since returning from injury, amassing 146 yards from scrimmage in two games. The Browns’ bottom-ten offense needed a spark, and the dual-threat back out of Tennessee has provided that thus far.

Next up for Cleveland is a trip to New Orleans to face the Saints, who are bottom-five in total yards and points allowed. New Orleans has also given up the most fantasy points per game to RBs in full PPR leagues through the first eight weeks (28.6).

That bodes well for Sampson, who has shown the ability to be effective in both the run and pass game (ten targets in two games). With nine catches and 94 yards in the last two games, Sampson should be the Browns primary back on passing downs. This should be a solid addition to the fantasy football streamers list for those who may need a fill-in for Tony Pollard or Warren.

5) Drew Lock Versus Arizona Cardinals

As the saying goes: the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. For Seattle Seahawks QB Drew Lock, that past behavior against the Arizona Cardinals was 235 yards and three touchdowns. Lock will be once again filling in for Sam Darnold, who is out with a quad injury. Lock has been solid in his two appearances this year, throwing for 422 yards and four TDs.

Nothing has changed with the Cardinals’ defense since Lock’s Week Two performance against them, giving up 30 or more points in five of their last six games. In fantasy football, Arizona has given up 25.6 points per game to quarterbacks (second most). The Seahawks are still struggling to establish the run, so Lock, who had 26 passing attempts against the Cards last time, should get those opportunities again.

Lock should once again be a solid fill-in for Seattle and fantasy owners looking to stream a QB, as the Cardinals have also allowed the most passing TDs. The now seven-year veteran was an obvious choice for the fantasy football streamers list.

End Of My Fantasy Football Streamers Rant

The not-so-usual suspects should have opportunities to make an impact this Sunday. The players on this list are facing defenses that are banged up or just plain bad. The fantasy football stretch run is here, and every decision is critical. These fantasy football streamers should all have solid games this week and get owners one step closer to fantasy bliss.
