Top Free Agent Picks For Los Angeles Rams In 2024
Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

Los Angeles Rams Free Agent Options

Josh Allen – EDGE

Starting off the list with 3 outside linebackers, Allen was a force to be reckoned with in 2023. With 17.5 sacks in a contract year, the young OLB is looking to get paid this free agency. According to Spotrac, Allen could demand around $24m a year putting him up with the likes of Rashan Gary and Bradley Chubb. I think if the Los Angeles Rams decide to swing big at a pass rusher it’s one of the top three here, but I could also see them going another route via the draft.

Brian Burns – EDGE

Burns is an interesting option because the Rams reportedly had an offer on the table for the Panthers that they never took. Similar to Allen, Burns would have an estimated $21m contract value via Spotrac, making him a tiny bit cheaper than Allen.

Josh Uche – OLB

One of the more intriguing options at OLB is Uche, who has shown promise throughout his short career, but hasn’t put up the stats like the first two options. I’d look at Uche as an option similar to how they brought in Leonard Floyd a few years back as more of a reclamation project, which would be pretty cheap at an AAV or $8m.

Brandon Powell – WR/ST Specialist

A reunion with Brandon Powell would be perfect for a Rams special teams unit that ranked in the bottom half of the league. Powell always seemed to add a spark on kick returns and that’s something they were missing this past season.

Kevin Dotson – OL

Retaining Dotson would bolster the interior of the offensive line, ensuring stability and protection of Matthew Stafford. The trade for him last offseason might be one of the most underrated moves in the entire NFL last year, solidifying him as a top guard.

L’Jarius Sneed – DB

One of the more unrealistic options, Sneed could unite with Les Snead after a career year. Sneed is one of the NFL’s best young corners and is expected to be pursued by many teams. The Rams secondary could use some help and landing Sneed could be as big as Jalen Ramsey a few years back.

Ka’imi Fairbairn – K

Every Rams fan this past season was tired of the kicker carousel, and Fairbairn who went to school at UCLA could come in and provide some veteran stability at the position. The Rams would obviously want to go younger at the position, but Fairbairn is someone who could immediately come in and contribute.

Kameren Curl – S

Curl is not a household name, especially coming from Washington, but he could be a very reasonably priced free agent. Over the past few seasons, Curl has lined up in many different positions, something that the Rams value as well as totaling at least 80+ tackles in his first 4 seasons.

Jonathan Greenard – EDGE

Greenard is another cheaper option at pass rusher that the Los Angeles Rams could look into after having a career year this past season with 12.5 sacks.
