Addison tells Steelers 'come get me' at NFL Scouting Combine
Jordan Addison Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

USC wide receiver Jordan Addison -- perhaps the best receiving prospect in the upcoming 2023 rookie class -- spoke on Friday from the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. When asked if he would be in favor of a reunion with former Pitt QB Kenny Pickett -- Addison spent his first two seasons in college with the Panthers before transferring to USC -- the receiver said that it would be "really cool."

“If we reunite (with the Steelers), that’d be good,” Addison said. “That’d be real cool. Real easy transition.”

Addison then told the Steelers, “come get me.”

If the Steelers are to facilitate this reunion, they would presumably have to spend their Day 1 pick (No. 17 overall) on the wideout, either outright or in a trade up/down.

Addison was a monster at Pitt in 2021, teaming with Pickett to catch 100 passes for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns. This past season at USC, Addison caught 59 passes for 875 yards and eight touchdowns.
