The Toronto Argonauts were the best team in the CFL last year, and they made that evident after they took home the Grey Cup after a tough battle against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in November.

The team is looking to go back-to-back, as would any team in their situation, and they have made one of the most significant moves of the off-season ahead of the free agency window opening.

According to multiple sources , the Argos have re-signed All-CFL linebacker Wynton McManis after a stellar 2024 season, culminating in a shiny new Grey Cup ring.

The 30-year-old linebacker played 12 games with the Argos last season, making 57 tackles, one sack, one interception, and one forced fumble.

McManis joined Toronto in 2022 after playing from 2017 to 2019 in Calgary and from 2020 to 2022 in the NFL. McManis would only see one game in New Orleans before heading back north to the six.

Through 79 total career games, McManis accumulated 328 tackles, 12 sacks, seven interceptions, three touchdowns, and three forced fumbles. McManis will look to help Toronto return to glory when their season begins on June 6 against the Montreal Alouettes.
