Tracking the Dallas Cowboys' Top 30 visits ahead of 2025 NFL Draft: Ashton Jeanty among first names on the list

With the NFL Scouting Combine in the rearview mirror, it's time for so-called Top-30 visits. These are scheduled visits by NFL Draft prospects to different NFL franchises, which are limited to 30 per team.

These visits mean different things for different teams, but for the Dallas Cowboys, it's usually a clear indication of what positions they're targeting ahead of the Draft.

We'll continue updating this tracker so make sure you keep a tab open or bookmark the page to stay in tune with the Cowboys' plans.

Some notes to keep in mind:

  • Players with a "Local" label on them don't count toward the 30 limit. These are players who played for a school in the area or grew up there.
  • Though they're often called "Top-30 visits," they're not necessarily used on "top" players. Teams will often host even undrafted free agency candidates.
  • NFL Scouting Combine formal meetings do not count as Top-30 visits.

RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State (Local)

"The three down impact is what sets Jeanty apart," said A to Z Sports' Ryan Roberts about Jeanty last month. "Some have attempted to downplay him because of athleticism, but they also undervalue his vision, physicality, and contact balance as a runner. Then you add in Jeanty's soft hands as a pass catcher and pass blocking prowess, and that makes him very worth it. This is an every down back who could become one of the very best running backs in the NFL in the very near future."

RB Damien Martinez, Miami

Of course, Martinez is a load with the ball in his hands at 6'1", 230 pounds. His combination of size, speed, and agility already had the attention of scouts and executives going into (Senior Bowl week," wrote A to Z Sports' Craig Smith in early February.
