Travis Hunter and his fiancée, Leanna De La Fuente, are set to tie the knot in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Saturday. The two have prepared for this moment over the past year since announcing their engagement in February 2024.

While the ceremony and details of the wedding have been kept private, Hunter did say they would be traveling to the Blue Ridge Mountains for the special occasion.

The area is a hotbed for springtime walks down the aisle. Atlanta Falcons' Bralen Trice recently married his college sweetheart Ariana Quinones at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge in Trenton, Georgia. The European inspired luxury estate is one of the top North Georgia wedding venues and 25 mins outside of Chattanooga.

Hunter is coming off rookie minicamp in Jacksonville, where he turned heads for his athletic ability on both sides of the ball. He was selected by the Jaguars with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, becoming the highest drafted cornerback and second-highest drafted wide receiver in NFL history.

Hunter and De La Fuente met in 2021 and became a couple while at Jackson State a year later. While the rollercoaster ride for both of them has been shaky as of late, they've stuck by each other's side. Even when it meant deactivating social media accounts.

“I would constantly pray that God would give me a reason to keep moving forward so I can fulfill his plan for me. That he would give me motivation to continue, and you were his answer,” De La Fuente wrote to Hunter in a post in February 2023.

Meanwhile, Hunter has stated that he’s “so happy God” led him to De La Fuente. Writing to his love in an Instagram post in November 2022, He wrote, “You are one of a kind and I truly believe that we are meant to be together. You are the best girlfriend in the world and I’ll paint the sky red by any means. I know I make you crazy but trust me I ain’t going no where and I’ll always be yours.”

Hunter has also vowed “to do everything possible” to make De La Fuente the “happiest woman in the world.”

Hunter will have his dad, Travis Hunter Sr., with him at the ceremony. A Florida judge cleared for the elder Hunter to be with his son with similar plans to last month's NFL Draft.
