Travis Kelce Made Change to His Appearance After Super Bowl Loss

On Tuesday afternoon Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach hinted at Travis Kelce's return for the 2025 season.

"How we left it is he was fired up. He was one more year under contract. Still think he has that fire and desire to play and as far as I'm concerned there is no deadline. I think we left it as he'd be back and we're excited to get him back and get him going," Veach told reporters on Tuesday afternoon.

His comments came right before head coach Andy Reid revealed he told the tight end to take some time away from football following the team's 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

"That's up to Travis. At this point just get out of town and relax. You know, that's kind of my motto for these guys," Reid said. "They've played a lot of games for a consistent amount of seasons here and so you get to the end of the thing and you've exhausted yourself mentally and physically. Step back and take care of that and then we'll talk. For right now I think that's what he's doing."

Reid appeared to know exactly what Kelce was up to because the star tight end was spotted in a new promo for his "New Heights" podcast that showed the future Hall of Famer looking tan - and without his patented playoff beard.

"the beard is gone! he is on vacation! he is smiling! all is right in the world," one Swiftie noticed.

Kelce, meanwhile, is still pondering his future in the NFL.

“I know everybody wants to know whether I am playing next year and right now I am just kicking everything down the road. I am kicking every can I can down the road,” he said in a podcast appearance two weeks ago.

“I am not making any crazy decisions but right now, the biggest thing is just being there for my teammates and being there for my coaches understanding there’s a lot that goes into this thing. I’ve been fortunate over the past five, six years, I’ve played more football than anybody."
