Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs recently ended the NFL season with a Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Their 40-22 blowout loss to the Eagles resulted in a 17-3 finish to the season, including postseason victories over the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans.

As the offseason rolls out for the Chiefs, Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce recorded an episode of their "New Heights" podcast with special guest Adam Sandler.

The three discussed some of Sandler's best movies as an actor and director, while sharing some insights on the upcoming movie, "Happy Gilmore 2."

Sandler stars in "Happy Gilmore 2," and the Chiefs tight end joined the cast to film a few scenes with the crew, further working toward an acting career after previously being featured on "Saturday Night Live."

At the end of the podcast, Kelce shared some kind words for Sandler, one of the most successful comedic actors to ever hit the big screen.

"You are the GOAT of comedy that we grew up on," Kelce said, per New Heights. "I can't thank you enough man. You shot me the text after SNL, and it was like a full life circle moment of feeling like I am a part of something as cool as the sandman."

Sandler's most iconic movies include "Happy Gilmore," "Grown Ups," "Mr. Deeds," "Billy Madison," "Uncut Gems," "The Longest Yard," "50 First Dates" and "Just Go With It."

Sandler has been an actor since 1987 and has also spent time as a stand-up comedian, producer and director. The 58-year-old star made his film debut in 1989 on "Going Overboard."

According to Ayomikun Adekaiyero at Yahoo Entertainment, Sandler signed a four-picture deal with Netflix in 2014 and that contract has since been renewed in 2017 and 2020, with contracts worth up to $250 million.

Adekaiyero explained that Sandler was the highest-paid actor in 2024 with estimated earnings of $73 million.
