Travis Kelce's Backup Previews Loaded Chiefs Offense: 'Cool To See!'

The Kansas City Chiefs' offense in 2025 looks to be a vastly different one compared to the unit we saw last season.

Rashee Rice (who is now suspended for the first six games), Marquise Brown, Juju Smith-Schuster, Xavier Worthy, Jalen Royals, Travis Kelce, and Noah Gray all on the field together are going to create some nightmare scenarios for defenses.

Having only seen bits and pieces this offseason, many are excited to see what Andy Reid's offense looks like when everyone is on the field, and Gray has detailed exactly what it might look like.

"Definitely opens up a lot," Gray said. "Those guys are fast, they can run downfield, make big plays down the field, but they're also great in the slot. You can move those guys around. So, it's just really cool to see guys like that, especially when we got all of them on the field at one time to run certain concepts together.

"It's been a lot of fun for me. Helps me get open when guys are flying around, taking the top off the defense and doing their job extremely well. It's been really awesome and just really looking forward to building on that chemistry moving forward.”

Of course, the Chiefs will be without Rice for the first portion of the season due to his six-game suspension for violations of the NFL's personal conduct policy in an incident months ago, so Kansas City won't have its No. 1 weapon.

But there are still plenty of options for Patrick Mahomes to work with and perhaps now, health is again a big emphasis for the Chiefs receiver room.

Brown, Worthy, and Smith-Schuster will be tasked with leading the way with the help of Kelce and his backup/cohort Gray to put the Chiefs in a good position for a Super Bowl tilt without Rice.

And when all of Mahomes' infinity stones come together after Week 6, this offense might just take off.
