Travis Kelce’s Dad Takes Shot at Josh Allen, Bills

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs dropped a second-straight game in Week 14, falling to 6-7 on the 2025 NFL season after a 20-10 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday night. Kelce put up his worst stat line of the season, recording just one catch for eight yards, adding a key drop in the fourth quarter as well.

With the loss, the Chiefs are in extreme danger of being eliminated from playoff contention for the first time since 2014, before Patrick Mahomes was with the team. But before 2025, Kansas City had made it to the AFC Championship in each of the last seven seasons, most recently defeating Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills last season.

And Bills fans seem to love the fact that Kansas City may not be contending for another Super Bowl. One fan even created an edited video using a scene from the 2008 movie “Step Brothers,” where Derek (played by Adam Scott) mocks his upset brothers, Dale (John C. Reilly) and Brennan (Will Ferrell).

But instead of the actors’ faces, the video replaced them with Mahomes as Dale, Kelce as Brennan, and Allen as Derek. Even coach Andy Reid made an appearance as the father in the scene. And Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, saw the edited video and proceeded to take a shot at Allen and the Bills.

"If the Chiefs don’t get in the playoffs, then the path is clear for the BILLS TO LOSE ANOTHER SUPERBOWL," Ed Kelce wrote.

Ed Kelce’s comment was likely a reference to the four straight Super Bowl losses the Bills suffered in the 1990s, when quarterback Jim Kelly led the team. Buffalo has yet to win a Super Bowl, and hasn’t returned to one since.

The Chiefs will be back in action in Week 15, hosting Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium.
