Travis Kelce's Mom Gets Quirky Baseball Game Honor

The celebrity of the Kelce family has grown far beyond what both Jason and Travis thought when each of them entered the NFL. This in most part has to do with the latter's relationship with pop megastar Taylor Swift.

In turn Swift's presence at Kansas City Chiefs games has brought the matriarch of the Kelce family, Donna, into the public eye. The two are often seen sitting together in a suite at the games or mingling in some capacity.

Donna's star has shined brighter as a result with the latest example coming Saturday at a minor league baseball game. The Akron RubberDucks, a Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, hosted a bobblehead night in honor of Kelce.

Kelce raised her two boys in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, so the family has strong ties to the state and area. The evening festivities not only included the bobbleheads, but also music from Swift's discography and fireworks themed to her son's girlfriend.

All in good intention, it's clear fans of the Kelce's are striking while the iron is still hot and Travis plays out what will be his final year in the NFL next season. Many thought 2024 could be his last campaign on the gridiron but he will have one more chance to add to an illustrious career resumé.

When the season gets started again, fans should expect to see plenty of Taylor and Donna at Chiefs' games.

The farewell tour for Travis begins in its infancy stages in the coming weeks when the Chiefs report for mandatory minicamp on June 17.
