Travis Kelce’s Mom Presses Him on Whereabouts After He, Taylor Swift Skip Met Gala

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is saying nothing to nobody about his recent whereabouts, including his mom Donna.

During Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, the Kelce brothers were joined by their mom Donna, who unexpectedly put Kelce on the spot about what he’s been up to recently.

“You look a little dark, Trav,” Donna said. “You have a tan?”

“No, it’s just — I’m in my cubicle,” Travis responded before his brother Jason chimed in, joking “he was just in Haiti.”

“I’m everywhere; I’m everywhere, Mommy,” Kelce quipped with a grin on his face.

“Got it,” Donna replied. “Looks like you guys are having fun.”

Kelce again side-stepped his mom’s question, offering a brief “yeah” before transitioning to the show’s “new news” segment.

It’s clear from Donna’s line of questioning and Kelce’s ability to avoid giving a serious answer that the Pro Bowler is trying to keep his personal life out of the spotlight as much as possible following the backlash he and girlfriend Taylor Swift received after Super Bowl LIX in February.

However, Donna isn’t the only one curious about what Kelce and Swift have been up to lately after the couple skipped the Met Gala earlier this week despite being invited to the event.

TMZ Sports reported that the couple didn’t attend because of their “busy schedules” as Kelce and Swift have been keeping buys with trips, vacations and private down time together after Kelce announced he was returning for his 13th NFL season back at the end of February.

“They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,” a source told People.com las month. “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It's a special time for them.”

Most fans, however, believe the couple no-showed the Met Gala because they’re doing their best to stay out of the tabloids during the NFL offseason.
