Garage Beer didn't keep fans waiting for too long.
On Wednesday, the company announced that they are in the "very advanced stages of acquiring a significant ownership stake in a professional football team."
"While we can't share the team name, city, league, mascot, or parking situation just yet, we can say that it involves football - the real kind with helmets, touchdown, tailgates, and of course, ice cold beers," the company said in a statement. "This bold, somewhat mysterious move aligns perfectly with Garage Beer's identity: deeply rooted in football culture, loved by fans who prefer their beer cold and their Sundays (and Mondays, and Thursdays, and sometimes Saturday's filled with gridiron action.
"With Jason and Travis Kelce at the helm, two guys who know a thing or two about football and a whole love about beer, this move just... makes sense," they added.
And on Thursday, they revealed what team they now own.
"Garage Beer - the crisp, uncomplicated lager co-owned by Jason and Travis Kelce - is proud to officially announce that we are now owners of the St. Joseph Goats, a professional indoor football team from St. Joseph, Missouri competing in The Arena League," the company announced.

It honestly seems like fate, as Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs spend a large part of their summer in St. Joseph, with the team holding training camp at Missouri Western State University.
The St. Joseph Goats are one of six teams in the Arena League, along with the Duluth Harbor Monsters, Eau Claire Axemen, Hot Springs Wiseguys, Iowa Woo, and Ozarks Lunkers.
