Travis Kelce couldn't hide his disappointment following the Kansas City Chiefs' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

After sharing an emotional hug with Patrick Mahomes in the aftermath of their 40-22 disaster against the Eagles, Kelce was spotted walking to the locker room with a somber expression.

Of course it was not only Kelce who was silent and feeling down as the Chiefs left the field, but considering his popularity, there was plenty of attention on him.

Kelce didn't have the best game either, as he finished with just four catches for 39 yards, so it's no surprise that many were waiting for his postgame reaction.

Speaking to reporters in the locker room, a disappointed Kelce also shared his belief about what doomed them. According to the Chiefs star, "turnovers, penalties, playing behind the sticks on offense, dropped passes, not taking advantage of the play call and executing them" were big reasons for their loss.

After he did his interview, Travis Kelce was once again seen looking crestfallen as he left the locker room. A video of him heading to his VIP suite also emerged, showing him appearing dejected.

The Chiefs were aiming for an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat, and so for them to not only lose but also fail to put up a fight was certainly disappointing. They were so close to NFL immortality, but their energy and performance didn't even match the importance of the game.

Now, the Chiefs head into the offseason with plenty of questions to answer in order to return to title contention. As for Kelce, his future will be a major talking point, especially after rumors of a potential retirement.
