The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up another day of training camp on Sunday, but the biggest takeaway wasn’t about football—it was Travis Kelce’s drastic new look.
While it’s not uncommon for Kelce to switch up his appearance before a new NFL season, he had been rocking longer hair for most of the past year. That changed Sunday, when he showed up with a fresh buzz cut—likely a smart move given the summer heat.
The updated hairstyle quickly caught attention, and even the Chiefs joined in on the conversation, posting a simple three-word reaction on social media: “Fresh cut Trav.”

Chiefs fans reacted to Kelce's new look:
"Keeping it cool! Now let’s do it ! Gonna be a great football season! @Chiefs all the way!" A fan said.
Someone else added, "He finally looks like an NFL player for the first time since he started dating Taylor Swift."
Another person wrote, "I have barely come to terms with losing the flow and you come here, on this Sunday...rubbing it in my face?!"
"Travis Kelce about to turn back the clock with this look!" One more fan commented.

Travis Kelce is entering his 13th NFL season, and it comes after he briefly considered retirement following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Still, Kelce made it clear he wasn’t ready to walk away—especially not on that note. He admitted he didn’t meet his own expectations last season and felt like he let his teammates down.
“I still feel like I can play at a high level—and possibly at a higher level than I did last year,” Kelce said. “I don’t think it was my best outing. I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them.”
Now, as the Chiefs wrap up their first week of training camp, Kelce is already turning heads. Head coach Andy Reid even praised the veteran tight end’s energy and performance, saying, “He looks like he’s 20."
"He's svelte right now. He looks like he's 20," Reid said on Thursday. "He's doing a great job. He's in great shape. You can see he's been working out. You saw him yesterday on the long run where he had the burst. He's worked hard to get to this spot."
