Travis Kelce’s Teammate Opens Up With Candid Admission About Him

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is widely regarded as one of the greatest tight ends of all time, primarily for his pass-catching ability. However, last season he experienced a drop in production, finishing with a career-low 823 receiving yards.

In his team's 40-22 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl in February, Kelce was a non-factor, reeling in four catches for 39 yards.

Since then, Kelce has vocalized his intentions to return stronger than ever, claiming that game and his overall performance last season left a bad taste in his mouth.

In the big game, however, Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy had a great day, recording eight catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Worthy sat down for an interview with Kay Adams, host of the "Up & Adams" show.

During his feature, he praised Kelce for his impact on the Kansas City receivers around him.

"Travis is an all-around great teammate. He's probably one of the best teammates I've ever been around and one of the best players I've ever been around. Just his ability to get open and continue to keep stacking, he's what, year 12, year 13?" said Worthy

"So yeah, just his ability to keep getting open, and he always tells me like, yeah, like every time in practice, he'll see something and be like, actually you can do this, you can add this. So he just adds tools to my game every time."
