If you wanted more proof as to how different recruiting and college sports are in 2025, then Adidas is here to deliver. Today, the sports apparel and footwear monster announced that they had signed Class of 2026 WR Tristen Keys to a deal.

If you’re not familiar with Keys, he is a 6-foot-2, 180-pound five-star receiver from Mississippi who committed to LSU in March. However, that has not stopped him from continuing his recruiting process. He has already taken an official visit to Miami and still has scheduled stops at Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama and Texas A&M.

Keys is the third Class of 2026 recruit to sign with Adidas, joining wide receivers Chris Henry Jr. and Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, who are both committed to Ohio State. They join a long line of NFL players who are signed, including wide receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown, Rome Odunze and Garrett Wilson, and quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdy.

It is important to note that LSU is not an Adidas school, so will that play a role in Keys final decision? If it does, then keep an eye on Miami and Texas A&M as they are the only schools on his current visit list that are signed with Adidas.
