Trevor Lawrence Makes Opinion On Travis Hunter Extremely Clear

Few rookies have drawn the kind of buzz Travis Hunter has leading up to his NFL debut.

After starring on both sides of the ball at Colorado on his way to Heisman Trophy honors, the Jacksonville Jaguars moved up to take the do-it-all WR/CB with the second overall pick — and he appears to have already impressed his $275 million quarterback.

Speaking on his new teammate with WJXT's Jamal St. Cyr earlier this week, Trevor Lawrence (who knows a thing or two about expectations) said he couldn't be happier with Travis' talent and approach to the job.

"Travis has been great — just his work ethic, how he's come in. He's been one of the hardest-working guys we have," Lawrence revealed. "I think it's commitment to learning the playbook and trying to learn the two systems. It's a lot on a rookie, it's challenging to learn everything and he's done a nice job."

"We still have work to do and we're going to get a lot done in training camp and get us ready to play come September," the 2022 Pro Bowler continued. "I'm really excited for him and how he can help our team."

The Jaguars are entering a new era under head coach Liam Cohen after moving off of Doug Pederson back in January.

Hunter has the potential of being a franchise-altering star with the unicorn-like abilities he showed in college.

Hopefully we're able to see the full extent of that at the next level when Travis finally suits up in an NFL uniform.
