Troy Aikman Doesn't Hold Back Thoughts on Jim Harbaugh, Chargers After Ravens Loss

The final score of Monday night's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers isn't entirely indicative of how the actual game played out.

While Los Angeles only fell by one score - a final score of 30-23 - the Ravens dominated much of the game after the Chargers opened with touchdown on their first series. Baltimore went on a 30-9 run before the Chargers final drive and looked like the clear better team on the field.

Despite falling to 7-4 on the season and getting controlled at home, ESPN color analyst Troy Aikman still believes in the Chargers. Following the game he offered a vote of confidence for Jim Harbaugh and company.

"No, it does not for me at all," Aikman said when asked if the loss to Baltimore impacts the way he sees the Chargers. "This was a team coming into the season, as I talked about, they had some cap issues. They had to get rid of some people offensively. They were really going to be short-handed from where they've been at the skill positions. I think Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman have really done a great job - I think Jesse Minter's done a good job."

"I like what they're building. And I know this is a big disappointing loss for them, but in no way does this detract from what I think they've done getting to this point, and what I feel they're capable of doing and what they're building," he added.

With the loss on Monday night, the Chargers currently occupy the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff race - falling behind the Ravens, who moved up to No. 5.
