Tua Tagovailoa returns, Dolphins hang on to defeat Steelers, 16-10

On Sunday night, Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins held on for a 16-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, improving to 4-3 on the season.

While Tagovailoa was impressive in his return from injury, Miami's defense made the play of the night.

With the Dolphins ahead late in the fourth quarter, cornerback Noah Igbinoghene came down with an acrobatic interception with 18 seconds left, sealing the victory for Miami.

Igbinoghene's interception was the third of the night for the Dolphins, with Jevon Holland and Jason Bethel also picking off Steelers' quarterback Kenny Pickett in the victory.

Along with a strong effort from Miami's defense, Tagovailoa looked strong and, more importantly, healthy after making his return from a scary head injury suffered in Week 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Tagovailoa finished the night 21-of-35 for 261 yards and accounted for the game's only touchdown, hooking up with running back Raheem Mostert for six in the first quarter.

Perhaps even more promising is that Tagovailoa didn't shy away from contact, rushing four times for 15 yards.

"It was awesome. The atmosphere was awesome. Sunday night game, primetime, the fans came out and showed their love and support," Tagovailoa said about returning to the field. "I'm just happy we came out here - we did what we wanted to do, and we came out with the win."

Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will look for their second win in a row when they travel to take on the Detroit Lions next Sunday.
