Tua Tagovailoa showed in one moment what every Miami Dolphins wanted to see in return

QB Tua Tagovailoa has had a successful return for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, with the Fins leading 20-12 in the third quarter.  He's been solid in the passing game, going 21/28 for 175 yards and a touchdown through two and a half quarters.

However, there was one moment where the fans really got on their feet and applauded their franchise QB, and it was right after they all held their collective breath.

With the Dolphins leading 13-10 and facing third and ten at the Arizona 23, Tua took off after scanning the field for a moment.  He had a free run to the first down marker, but that didn't stop everyone in the building from worrying about their star QB getting down.

Finally, after crossing the first down line, Tagovailoa slid and got up and signaled first down, to the eruption of the crowd.  Two plays later, De'Von Achane took a short pass from Tua and trotted in for an easy touchdown.

It was the first opportunity for Tua to show a couple of important things.  He's not afraid to run when necessary to pick up crucial yards.  He's also willing to avoid taking contact where he can avoid it.  It was a collision with Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin back in Week 2 that resulted in a concussion for Tagovailoa and a trip to the injured reserve list.

Now, the Dolphins' star quarterback looks like he's back to his old self, and perhaps a wiser version of what he was before.
