WHAT ARE THE PATRIOTS THINKING? LMFAO

Just stupid to run a draw with three seconds left. Foolish to even attempt a lateral when you aren't trailing. The worst possible outcome for a terrible process.

Dumbest most indefensible last second Patriots loss of my lifetime. And I’m old enough to remember the Joe Ferguson Hail Mary.

THAT'S THE DUMBEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN A TEAM DO

Well I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so phenomenally stupid.

Tied at 24, Rhamondre Stevenson took the ball with three seconds and ran to the Raiders' 32-yard line before he made the curious decision to lateral the football to teammate Jakobi Meyers.
That's when things really got weird. Meyers — not a quarterback — heaved the ball in the direction of Mac Jones — not an athlete — for some ungodly reason. Since the ball had already advanced well past the initial line of scrimmage, Jones wouldn't have been able to attempt a forward pass if he had somehow caught the ball.
Instead, Chandler Jones received the ball, produced the second-best stiff arm of the weekend ( after Frank Gore Jr.'s) and scored the game-winning touchdown in shocking fashion.
Perhaps the most stunning aspect of the play was that it was produced by a team coached by Bill Belichick. In all his perceived wisdom, he forgot the disperse the knowledge that a player shouldn't attempt a backward lateral on the final play of regulation in a tied game.

"This might be one of the dumbest teams I've ever seen," said Patriots radio announcer Scott Zolak.
Sunday's infamous play should remove all doubt.
