Two Offensive Players That Can Step Up For The Falcons In 2025

The Falcons have their star players in Bijan Robinson and Drake London, but they also have some other players in the wide receiver and running back positions that can produce at a high level. Both Mooney and Allgeier have had 1,000-yard seasons either rushing or receiving, and as the second best in their positions on the Falcons, can get close to that mark this year.

Having a strong wide receiver two, and backup running back is monumental for a roster as they don't need to always rely on their stars. The Falcons have been relying heavily on Robinson and London, but now it is time to spread the wealth as much as possible.

Allgeier is entering his fourth season, will now be his third as a backup, but as a rookie he had a 1,035-yard season, and showed to be an impressive running back. Over the last few seasons, he has had 683 and 644 yards, which are very good for a guy averaging less than 200 carries in his last two years.

Mooney is a guy who wants to win, and someone who is coming off a 992-yard campaign. He has had consistency issues over the last few years, but recently had his best season since 2021, and he looks to add on and improve in his sixth season.

There are other players like Ray-Ray McCloud who could step up next season and have a big year, but the main focus will be these two putting up numbers next to the Falcons' star players. In 2025 there will be a lot to prove as the Falcons want to make it back to the playoffs.

The Falcons are going into 2025, with one of the best teams they have had in years and look to exceed expectations.
