As the Packers continue preparations for Sunday’s contest against the Cleveland Browns, two key players remain limited as Green Bay gets back on the practice field.
According to Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, offensive linemen Zach Tom and Aaron Banks are both limited, ahead of Week 3.
Tom continues to work his way back from an oblique injury, and Banks is still dealing with ankle and groin injuries.
Both Tom and Banks were injured in the Packers’ Week 1 victory over the Detroit Lions and sidelined for a Week 2 victory over the Washington Commanders, where, despite a patchwork offensive line, quarterback Jordan Love still passed for 292 yards and a pair of touchdowns while running back Josh Jacobs rushed for 84 yards and his second touchdown of the season.
Getting Tom and, or Banks back on the field for Sunday’s game would be a huge bonus for a Packers offense that needs to neutralize All-Pro edge rusher Myles Garrett.
