Two Ravens land on PFF's 'all-breakout defense'

The Ravens have high aspirations for the 2023 season with their newest offensive additions. However, Pro Football Focus believes there's a couple of players on defense that will become impact players this year as well.

PFF named edge rusher David Ojabo and inside linebacker Patrick Queen to its 2023 "All-Breakout Defense."

Ojabo, Baltimore's 2022 second-round pick, played in just two games as a rookie after suffering a torn ACL during his Pro Day workout. But he certainly caught people's attention when he got a strip sack in his NFL debut.

The 23-year-old may have been a first rounder if not for his injury, and the Ravens clearly have a right to be excited for his 2023 campaign.

Queen, on the other hand, has already established himself on Baltimore's defense. He had a career-high 117 tackles, five sacks and two interceptions last season.

However, Queen will be a man on a mission in 2022 after the Ravens decided to decline his fifth-year option and draft his potential replacement in LB Trenton Simpson with their third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The 23-year-old is going to do his best to take his game to another level in 2023 as he looks to get a big payday, whether it be from Baltimore or another team.

Either way, both Ojabo and Queen have important seasons ahead and could certainly be very impactful players on a Ravens team with Super Bowl aspirations.
