Brandon Jacobs won two Super Bowls in his career, and is regarded as a key piece of very good teams for the New York Giants in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
The former Auburn and Southern Illinois running back had a successful career by any stretch, but he made an interesting, unprompted admission on Thursday.
“Yall wanna know something that bothers me?," Jacobs asked on X.
Yall wanna know something that bothers me? I am 42 years old and I regret losing my virginity to the person I lost it to. It means nothing but I wish it was another person other than her.

“I am 42 years old and I regret losing my virginity to the person I lost it to. It means nothing but I wish it was another person other than her.”
"I wasn’t aware this was a topic of discussion for men in the 40s. U ok bro?," one fan asked, seemingly concerned for Jacobs' well-being.
"thank you former Giants running back Brandon Jacobs for sharing this," another fan said.
"These are the type of tweets I’m here for. No agenda, just people letting their thoughts out in the abyss," one fan said, apparently happy to see Jacobs reveal his thoughts.
"Good tweet from a top ten rb you wouldn’t wanna see coming full speed at you in the open," said one fan.
"I’m not an 'everybody should be in therapy' person at all but when you start sharing stuff like this to a room full of (online) strangers it’s probably time," another fan said.
"People gotta get off social media and just go talk to they loved ones we don’t need to know this lol," one fan said, put off by the honesty and candor from Jacobs.
"One of the more interesting tweets I’ve seen from an athlete in a while lol," another fan admitted.
"Former Pro Bowl running back Brandon Jacobs, what are we supposed to do with this information?," another fan asked, though Jacobs never actually made the Pro Bowl in his career.
Jacobs has been married to his wife since 2005. The couple met at Auburn during Jacobs' time on the football team and they have two children together, one of whom plays on the offensive line at Clemson.
We'll see if any more of his inner musings make their way on to the timelines of confused NFL fans.
