Tyreek Hill Reacts to Petty Move from Mike McDaniel

There arguably hasn’t been a more one-sided rivalry in the NFL in recent years than the one that exists between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. Before Sunday’s bout, the Bills had won the last seven matchups between the pair of AFC East teams.

But the Dolphins picked up their first win against the Bills since September of 2022 on Sunday, and head coach Mike McDaniel made sure to troll some Buffalo fans after the victory. McDaniel pulled up to a bar in Ft Lauderdale called Elbo Room, which local Bills fans like to frequent, and rolled his window down.

Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill just so happened to get a kick out of his coach’s pettiness. He reacted to the move with a post on X on Monday morning.

It’s encouraging to see that Hill is still seemingly invested in the Dolphins and their success despite the fact that he won’t take the field again this season. He suffered a season-ending knee injury against the New York Jets back in September, and it doesn’t seem to be a guarantee that he’ll be good to go for the commencement of the 2026 campaign, either.

With Hill on the shelf, Jaylen Waddle has been quarterback Tua Tagovailoa‘s favorite target in, and he came up big for the Dolphins once again. He tallied a game-high 84 receiving yards to go along with one receiving touchdown, and he’s rebounded nicely in recent weeks after getting off to a sluggish start to the campaign.

Miami will try to keep the good times rolling and pick up its third win of its last four contests — all without Hill — when it does battle against the Washington Commanders on Nov. 16. The Commanders are just 3-7 on the season but shouldn’t be underestimated, as they were a playoff team just last year.
